What We Build
Kitchens, baths, and whole-home remodels for older Minneapolis & St. Paul homes.
Prima Construction is a woman-owned remodeler specializing in older Minneapolis and St. Paul homes. We don’t do quick “rip-and-replace” jobs — we take on the kitchens, bathrooms, and structural projects that older houses make complicated, and we put a fixed price on them before construction starts. Kim, our owner, is architect-trained and on the tools herself; Scott leads the design.
Kitchen Remodeling
The heart of the home — and often the most cramped, outdated room in an older Twin Cities house. We open up galley layouts, move radiators and load-bearing walls, and replace the aging guts behind the walls.
Bathroom Remodeling
From a one-room refresh to carving a whole new master suite out of an attic, we handle the geometry and code problems older bathrooms hide — sloped rooflines, settled floors, plaster, and pre-1970s plumbing.
Whole-Home & General Contracting
Additions, attic and basement finishes, and larger remodels where one room turns into several. We help you envision the design, set a realistic budget, and execute on a fixed-price or time-and-materials basis.
